SUITABILITY AND AVAILABILITY

While we will make every effort to provide your selected vehicle, reservations are subject to availability. If your chosen vehicle is unavailable for any reason, you will be provided with a vehicle from the same or a higher category at no additional cost.

DRIVER'S LICENSE

The driver must hold a valid driving license issued by a European Union country or a valid international driving license, held for at least one (1) year prior to the rental date. A minimum of one (1) year driving experience is required (three (3) years for Quad Bikes). Motorbikes require a valid motorcycle license.

DRIVER'S AGE

The driver must be at least 21 years old (23 years old for Quad Bikes & Buggies) and no older than 77 years.

RENTAL PERIOD

The minimum rental period is 24 hours. The vehicle must be returned at or before the agreed time and date, and at the agreed location. Late returns will be charged at the maximum daily rate. Any changes must be confirmed by telephone with our office by the renter as early as possible and remain subject to approval and availability.

PICK-UP

Vehicle delivery and collection from airports, ports, hotels, and other locations is available upon request. Deliveries or collections within 10 km of the office are free of charge. Locations outside this radius are charged at 0.50€ per kilometre, with a minimum charge of 10€. Deliveries and collections at airports and ports incur a fixed fee of 25€. Deliveries/collections outside office hours (23:00–08:00) incur an additional charge, agreed at the time of booking. Booking times and locations are subject to telephone confirmation with our office by the renter.

FUEL POLICY

All fuel expenses are the responsibility of the renter. The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at the time of collection. In case of return with less fuel, the renter will be charged the difference at market price. Any excess fuel remaining in the vehicle is non-refundable.

CHILD SEATS

Child seats are available upon request and subject to availability for a one-time fee of 10€ per seat for the entire rental period. GPS navigation rental is also available, subject to availability, at 5€ per day.

ACCIDENT PROCEDURE

Your Health and safety is paramount. If you require ambulance assistance, please call (+30) 166. In the event of an accident, please contact us immediately. Wait in a safe position at the scene for traffic police arrive. The renter is required to complete a police report and provide a copy to our office; otherwise, the insurance will be deemed void. The phone number for the Police is (+30) 100.

DRIVING RESTRICTIONS

1. All vehicles are to be used only on PUBLIC ASPHALT ROADS within Crete. Off-road driving, dirt roads, beaches, and travel to Balos are strictly prohibited. A fee of 150€ will be charged if a vehicle is found to have been used off permitted roads.
2. Damage to the underside of the vehicle due to careless or off-road driving is not covered by insurance.
3. Insurance does not cover irreparable or flat tyres. If a tyre is repairable, the renter may arrange repair and will be reimbursed upon presentation of a receipt.
4. Driving intoxicated is considered negligent and is not covered by insurance.
5. The vehicle may only be driven by the driver(s) named in the agreement.
6. The vehicle must not be used in any manner considered reckless or misuse (e.g. clutch damage, standing on seats or roof, interior damage, broken mirrors or accessories).
7. The renter is responsible for all traffic fines, including those resulting in removal of license plates, and any associated recovery costs.

VEHICLE REPLACEMENT CONDITIONS IN THE EVENT OF SERIOUS DAMAGE

In the unfortunate event of an accident, a replacement vehicle will only be provided if the renter has been found to be not at fault. Fault will be determined by the relevant authorities (police or insurance company), and a written report must be provided. The company reserves the right to investigate the cause of damage. A replacement vehicle will not be provided if the terms of this agreement have been breached.

LOST KEYS

In the event of lost or damaged keys, the renter is responsible for replacement costs (depending on the vehicle model), including any delivery costs and downtime.

CANCELLATION POLICY

You may cancel your reservation up to 7 days before the scheduled vehicle pick-up date and receive a full refund of your deposit. For cancellations made less than 7 days before pick-up, the deposit is non-refundable. In the event of a no-show at the agreed rental appointment, the deposit will also be non-refundable.
In the case of a flight delay, please inform us as soon as possible so that your reservation can be adjusted to your new arrival time. If the vehicle collection takes place outside our opening hours (23:00–08:00) due to the delay, an additional €15 fee will be added to the final rental price.

GPS TRACKING

All vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking.

PAYMENT METHOD

We accept payment by debit card, credit card (VISA & Master Card) or cash.

QUAD BIKE AND BUGGY TERMS

Quad bikes are not covered by insurance when used negligently or outside of PUBLIC ASPHALT ROADS. In such cases, the renter is liable for the full cost of repair or replacement. The full excess of 600€ applies to at- fault accidents. Quad bikes must not exceed 120 km per day and must not leave the municipality of Rethymno. Exceeding this limit is considered negligent use. 

Drivers must be at least 23 years old and hold a license for a minimum of 3 years.

Buggies are subject to the same conditions, with a daily limit of 150 km and an excess of 700€.

An additional charge of 1€ per kilometre applies for distances exceeding the daily limit.
